ReActiv’s 7th progress meeting

The 7th progress meeting of the project was hosted on the 22nd and 23rd of May 2024 by AOS in Germany. All participating partners that were in situ had the chance to visit the AOS facilities. The second day of the meeting closed with a Standardisation Workshop organized by EA about “covering policy and standardisation aspects of the value chain of bauxite residue-based supplementary cementitious materials up to the market”. The latest news regarding bauxite residue characterization and registration under REACH is really promising, but there is a lot of work still to be done.
