ReActiv at the 42nd Annual Cement & Concrete Science Conference

The ReActiv project was presented at the 42^nd  Annual Cement & Concrete Science Conference, which took place on the 11th and 12th of September 2023, and hosted by the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of the Imperial College in London, UK.

M. Zhang from ICL presented  “Synthesis of sodium iron silicate hydrate (N-F-S-H)”, T. Okoroafor presented “Sustainability assessment of bauxite residue reuse applications: a comparison of cement and clay brick production” and C. Ö. Kılcan from UTARTU presented “Comparative Life Cycle Assessment of Composite Portland Cement Incorporating Bauxite Residue”, M. Georgiades from Imperial College  “A sensitivity analysis on the upscaling of a novel bauxite residue vitrification technology: An ex-ante life cycle assessment case study”
